Podcasts. Take the time and get involved!

For me, podcasts are a great way to sit in on conversations with other people and stimulate my brain with all sorts of new and valuable information. History. Art. Politics. Video Games. Music. Whatever. I have learned so much about the world thanks to this platform and a few years ago I decided that I wanted to contribute.

In my show, Start The Beat with Sikes - I dive into the complex minds of people driven by their creative ambitions to make the world around them a better place. Over the past 3 years I have recorded over 135 episodes with a wide variety of people from all walks of life and I just wanted to send a reminder to everyone out there that you’re all invited to be a part of these conversations with us!

I started this podcast to learn more about the community around me and give other creatives a platform to share their stories so I highly encourage everyone to take a look at my list of conversations.

Find a familiar name and learn more about them or find someone who you have never heard of and take a blind journey into what’s going on outside of your bubble. You’ll never know what’s out there if you don’t take a look. Hell, it doesn't even have to be my podcast. Just go listen to any podcast! Perhaps something on the Epicast Network. *insert winky face here*

I know life can be uncomfortably busy but if people like me have the time to tell these stories then people like you have the time to listen. Take the time and get involved!

Sit back, relax and let's START THE BEAT!

A Note: I know that I already have plenty of dedicated listeners who support the podcast and if you are one of those people this post is not for you. This post is for the people who still “don’t get it” or are “too busy” to listen to podcasts in general. Please feel free to share this with your friends and spread the word. A little bit goes a long way. Trust me.
